1. Who you are buying from
These terms govern the purchase of products from santosequine.com and the use of this website. By placing an order or creating an account you agree to be bound by them.

2. Placing an order
By placing an order you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You are entitled to use the payment method you submit.
- The details you give us at checkout are accurate and complete.
- You agree to us carrying out standard verification checks with your card issuer and fraud prevention services.
3. Prices and product images
All prices are in pounds sterling. Chofard Enterprise Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on your order. The price shown at checkout is what you pay, plus delivery where it applies.
- Pricing errors — if a price is displayed incorrectly we will tell you before dispatch and give you the choice of confirming at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
- Delivery charges — calculated at checkout. Orders over £40 qualify for free Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery.
- Images — we photograph our products as accurately as we can, but screens vary and the exact shade of a bottle or label may differ slightly.
4. When the contract is made
The email you receive straight after ordering confirms that we have your order. It is not acceptance of it.
The contract of sale is formed only when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch notice. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if the item is out of stock, if payment cannot be taken, or if we suspect fraud. If payment has already been taken, we refund it in full.
5. Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed by WooPayments (powered by Stripe). By completing checkout you authorise Chofard Enterprise Ltd to charge your chosen method for the order total and any delivery charge.
Payments run through an encrypted gateway and we do not store card numbers on our servers.
6. Delivery and risk
We deliver within the United Kingdom only, by Royal Mail Tracked. Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery, which is complete when the carrier leaves the parcel at your delivery address or nominated safe place. Full details are in our Delivery Information.
7. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel an online order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, and you then have a further 14 days to return them.
To cancel, email hello@santosequine.com. We refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
8. Our 30-day guarantee

9. Using the products safely
The Santos Equine products sold on this website — the Detangler & Finisher (Mane and Tail) and the Shampoo — are grooming products formulated for horses and other equines.
- Species — these products are intended for equine use. They are not formulated for dogs, cats or other animals, and should not be used on them.
- External use only — for use on the coat, mane and tail. Avoid the eyes, nostrils and mucous membranes, and do not apply to broken or irritated skin. Always follow the instructions on the bottle.
- Not biocidal products — the two products listed above are grooming products. They are not biocidal products under the UK Biocidal Products Regulation, and we make no claim that they repel, deter or control insects or other pests.
- Not veterinary medicines — these are cosmetic grooming products. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If your horse has a skin or coat problem that concerns you, speak to your vet.
10. Intellectual property
The Santos Equine name and logo, the website design, product copy and photographs belong to Chofard Enterprise Ltd, and the formulations to Promote Botanicals Care Ltd.
You may view, print or download content from this site for your own non-commercial use. Copying, redistributing or using it commercially without our written consent is not permitted.
11. Liability
You agree to indemnify Chofard Enterprise Ltd, its directors, employees and suppliers against claims, losses and legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or unauthorised use of your account.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
12. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to deliver caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, postal strikes, supply shortages or government restrictions.
If a court finds any part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute falls to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
