Gabriel Santos has spent over fifteen years training horses at every level — from young animals finding their feet to high-performance polo athletes competing on the British circuit. Based in the English countryside, he works across three languages and two continents, with clients who share a single standard: the horse comes first.
The Santos family name has carried weight in British polo for decades. Santos Equine is the next chapter — a grooming line built from that experience, formulated to the standard the yard demands and finished to the standard the show ring expects.
Why we started
Most grooming products were never built for the pace of a working yard. They are formulated for a different animal, relabelled for horses, and sold on a promise that falls apart the moment the coat is wet, muddy and due back out again. They leave greasy build-up, they make manes slippery on a plaiting morning, and they strip condition from a coat that takes weeks to build.
What does a groom actually need, on a Tuesday, with four horses to do before lunch?
